Maybe you’re a little scared at the prospect of being away from home for an entire semester. Maybe you’re worried about financing your trip. Or maybe you’ve never traveled outside of your country before. Whatever your reasons might be for not studying abroad at Tokiwa University, I am here to tell you that there are several reasons why you SHOULD do it.
So, before I go any further, I think it’s only fair that I introduce myself. Hello. Haha, okay, okay. Hello, my name is Jasmin Moreno, and I am one of those students who made the decision to study here at Tokiwa University. I attend California State University, Fresno, and after looking extensively online for more information on the daily life of international exchange students at Tokiwa (and not finding much), I decided to start this blog. Although I didn’t have a comprehensive guide, hopefully, this blog will serve as one for you. In it, along with a variety of other things, expect to find packing tips, talk about how to help finance your study, what it’s like to volunteer your time in English Connections, and of course, what the courses and workloads are like. I realize that you may have a lot of questions (I know I most certainly did), and so I hope I can help in some way.
In the meantime, がんばって!
